The new FAULHABER Motion Manager Version 3.4 for all versions Windows 95/NT (9x/NT/2000/XP) is ready for download absolutely free! The FAULHABER Motion Manager serves as a platform for configuration and operation of FAULHABER Motion Controllers. In addition to the existing RS-232 interface [PDF], the new version supports a CAN interface [PDF].
The new plug-in structure makes it possible to configure and operate the motion controller with one single user interface regardless of the chosen interface. The familiar ASCII commands are automatically translated into the appropriate CAN commands making it very simple to use without an in depth knowledge of the CAN protocol.
The new FAULHABER Motion Manager features the following functions:
Easy configuration of the drive through dialog windows
Dynamic configuration of drive parameters
Graphic, online analysis of the drive performance (for example: query commands)
Easy to use pull down command displays
Macro sequence and parameter programming, communication and storage
Integrated Visual Basic script language for creation of simple programs that can be run directly in the motion manager
The Node Explorer with an automatic address search and selection of all available nodes
Dynamic menus and dialog boxes that show the information for the node selected
