Ø15mm and Ø31mm Brushless DC Micromotors with Integrated Electronics
Electronically Commutated Endurance Runner
MicroMo Electronics, Inc. announces the addition of a RoHS compliant line of brushless DC micromotors with integrated electronics with the release of the Series 1525…BRC and 3153…BRC. The 1525...BRC motor has a diameter of 15 mm and a length of 25 mm and can achieve a continuous torque of 1.8 mNm with speeds up to 16,000 RPM. The 3153…BRC motor has a diameter of 31 mm and a length of 53 mm and can achieve a continuous torque of 28 mNm with speeds up to 6,500 RPM. The motor uses the “System FAULHABER” skewed winding in combination with a rotor made of Neodymium rare-earth magnets to provide cog-free motion. Due to their electronic commutation, the service life of these motors is only limited by the bearings. This makes these motors extremely useful for applications requiring continuous operations such as pump, fan, or scanner drives.
The series 1525…BRC with 9, 12, and 15 volt windings is immediately available from stock with a 24 - 48 hour turnaround. Series 3153…BRC with 9, 12 and 24 volt windings are immediately available from stock with a 24 - 48 hour turnaround.
